Survey shows strong favorability advantage and clear edge among Trump-aligned voters

BROWARD COUNTY, FL — A new survey of likely Republican primary voters in Florida’s 25th Congressional District shows Michael Carbonara emerging as the early frontrunner, with a strong favorability advantage and a decisive lead among voters who prioritize alignment with President Donald Trump.

The poll, conducted February 3–5, 2026 among likely Republican primary voters, found Carbonara with 41% favorable impressions and just 5% unfavorable, more than double the favorability of Claudia Villatoro, who unsuccessfully ran for Hollywood Commissioner in 2024.

Among voters who expressed an opinion on which candidate is more aligned with President Trump, Carbonara led by a 10-to-1 margin.

Key Findings

  • Carbonara holds a major favorability advantage over his opponent.

  • Strong lead among Trump-aligned voters who have formed an opinion.

“These results show that as Republican voters begin to focus on this race, Michael Carbonara is emerging as the clear conservative choice,” said a spokesperson for America's Renewal PAC. “He has strong favorability, a clear advantage with Trump-aligned voters, and the kind of message that resonates with Republican primary voters.”

Methodology

The survey was conducted February 3–5, 2026, among 300 registered Republicans who are very likely to vote in the August 2026 primary in Florida’s 25th Congressional District. The margin of error is ±5.6 percentage points.
